This technical note provides a miniaturized LC-MS and SPE method for the reliable and accurate detection of viral pesticides at 1 fmol/uL using SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein (N-protein) as a model system, using Strata-X microelution SPE for sample cleanup and a Biozen 2.6 Peptide XB-C18 nano column coupled to a SCIEX 6500+ mass spectrometer for maximum sensitivity.
